Sailing matches

The Hoge Wier is one of the fastest ships on the IJsselmeer and has been competing successfully in various matches for years. With every match there is a steady team on board that knows the ship by detail. Besides that there is room for approximately 15 individual persons that like to be a part of the team on board of this fast sailing ship during a match. Sailing experience is not required. You only need to have the right attitude and will to win. During the day we will sail actively to achieve the highest scores possible. During the night we just might be having fun, either in de hold or in a bar.

Would you like to join our team or would you like to compete in a regatta, perhaps with your organisation? Please ask for the possibilities. There are many ways to enjoy a ‘competitive atmosphere’ on board of the Hoge Wier.
